Seven state-of-the-art homepage directions for a 20-year commercial furnishings dealer
The Story
Project Overview
Kirksey & Co. is a Nashville-based commercial furnishings dealer with 20+ years designing, planning, and installing interiors across the country. Their existing site was a generic template that sold none of that craft — so they asked us for a state-of-the-art rebuild benchmarked against the best in the industry.
Rather than present a single comp, we built a curated set of seven distinct, fully-scrollable homepage directions — from a light editorial atelier to a dark luxury treatment, a Swiss grid, a cinematic showroom, warm glassmorphism, a photo-in-numerals folio, and a data-driven project portal. Every direction uses their real logo and real space photography, recolored to their signature magenta-to-coral gradient.
We packaged the directions into a branded, shareable proposal so their team could open, compare, and choose live — then take the winner into a production build with the full page set, a working contact form, and their manufacturer lines.
A 20-year dealer with a forgettable template website. They needed a premium, distinctive digital presence — but first they needed to see and choose a direction, with their own brand and photography, not abstract mockups.
We designed seven complete, high-fidelity homepage directions — each a real, scrollable page with parallax, scroll reveals, count-ups, kinetic type, and custom interactions — all carrying the Kirksey logo, real interior photography, and their magenta-to-coral brand. Delivered as a single branded proposal for live side-by-side review.

Atelier — Light Editorial
Near-white, Fraunces serif, an immersive parallax hero, editorial services, a flagship project moment, and a custom cursor. The most refined, magazine-grade direction.
Noir — Dark Luxury
A near-black cinematic canvas with the brand gradient used as glowing light, a kinetic ribbon, split flagship project, and a bento environment grid.
Studio — Swiss Grotesque
Structured, type-forward and architectural — Space Grotesk, visible grid rules, big numerals, and a services index with hover image previews.
Showroom — Cinematic
Full-bleed, scene-by-scene scrolling with alternating service chapters, a tall environment filmstrip, and stats over imagery.
Aurora — Warm Glassmorphism
Soft gradient orbs, frosted glass cards, pill buttons and Space Grotesk on a light ivory canvas. The friendliest, most contemporary direction.
Folio — Photo-in-Numerals
A gallery-grade editorial direction that clips real interior photography into giant serif numerals, with alternating dark and ivory bands.
Portal — Project Dashboard
A data-driven command center with KPI stat cards, a trackable delivery-process timeline, environment data-tiles, and an inline quote panel.
